Facts:

The respondent, Jamila Aloma purchased two airline return tickets from the appellant, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines who is an international air carrier for Lagos to Amsterdam to London to Milan back to Amsterdam to Lagos routes. The respondent subsequently embarked on the first phase of the journey, which was to take her through Amsterdam, London and Milan. On getting to Milan, the respondent went to the airport to embark on her return journey to Lagos via Amsterdam.
