Facts:

The 1st appellant applied for two secured loans in the sum of N54,600.00 (fifty four thousand, six hundred naira) from the 1st respondent, which were both approved. The appellant’s secured the loan by deed of legal mortgage. Subsequently, the 1st appellant claimed that the 1st respondent disbursed to her only N3,600.00 (three thousand six hundred naira) out of the two loans approved. The appellants were only able to repay a total of N12,572.00 (twelve thousand, five hundred and seventy two naira) to the 1st respondent.
